Frédéric Laganier

Director of Industrial Performance and Human Resources, SNECI

Frederic Laganier spent 22 years with PSA Group, including 13 years at their manufacturing plants, most notably as the General Plant Manager of Rennes from 2014 to 2017. During this period, he radically improved the plant’s performance with the successful launch of the Peugeot 5008 and commitment to industrial transformation.

Since 2017, Frederic has been in charge of the Industrial Strategy of PSA Group, reporting directly to Yann Vincent. He helped successfully integrate all OPEL Plants within PSA’s footprint and developed internationalization with China, South East Asia, India, Morocco, and Latin America. The energy transition of Powertrain plants was also defined during this period.

From 2012-2014, Frederic Laganier was in charge of Employee Relations at PSA Group, accompanying the turnaround of the company amidst the shutdown of Aulnay-sous-Bois plant and negotiating a competitiveness agreement (Nouveau Contrat Social).

In charge of industrial launch of Citroën C5 for Body in White perimeter, Frederic was in direct contact with the Process Manufacturing Engineering teams for four years.

Frederic started his career at PSA in 1997 in Germany to implement Service Quality Certification (ISO. 9002) within the commercial subsidiaries.

Frederic is 46 years old, he is married with two children and enjoys cycling and scuba diving.

Effective January 6, 2020, Frédéric Laganier will join SNECI’s Steering Committee as Director of Industrial Performance and Human Resources.
